Who are we?

HYPE Producers was founded in 2017 by Sarah Arden. Her love for producing began after attending the National Theatre’s Introduction to Producing course and, as they say, the rest is history. She has since worked for several years in the industry, both freelancing and working for other producing companies. Sarah’s work to date has seen her take shows to the Fringe, the West End as well as on UK and International tours.

She began HYPE out of a desire to work with a broader range of artists across a wide-spectrum of forms. After becoming a Creative Entrepreneur in association with the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and Cause4, she was able to make HYPE a reality. She pitched to some of the top arts and business professionals on an all-industry panel, gaining first-place at the Finalists Pitching Event for her achievements to date and visions for the future, kickstarting the early life of HYPE.

Since then, we are pleased to say that we are actively achieving our vision to collaborate with a variety of artists across a multitude of projects. We work predominantly in the UK and Europe, though we have experience of taking work further afield (e.g. US, Canada and Hong Kong). In particular, we are interested in new writing, immersive experiences, children's theatre and work that combines technology with the arts.
